HEY, I’M ASHTON
—the human behind Feral Fern Boudoir. I’m not here to fix you, pose you like a mannequin, or turn you into someone else. I’m here to reflect you back to yourself—the softness, the power, the parts you’ve been told to shrink. This work is political, personal, and a little bit rebellious. As a neurospicy, chronically ill person, I’ve built this experience with softness and accessibility at the center. This is a low-pressure, high-comfort, zero-judgment zone. From the moment you book, I’ve got you—what to wear (or not), how to prep, what the day will feel like, and how to let your nervous system chill. You don’t need to show up confident. You just need to show up.
My studio is tucked into a cozy, plant-filled space right in the middle of Capitol Hill in Denver. It’s private, affirming, and designed with all bodies, gender expressions, and identities in mind. We’ll laugh, take breaks when we need to, and capture the kind of images that remind you who the hell you are. You don’t have to be “ready.” You already are.
💋 What’s a Tease Me Session?
Tease Me Sessions are mini versions of my full boudoir shoots. They’re a great way to get a feel for what it’s like to work with me without committing to a longer session. Just one outfit, one location, and a half hour where you get to show up for yourself.
These are for you if:
You’ve been thinking about booking a boudoir session but want to start small.
You want a quick, low-key experience that still feels intentional.
You have a specific outfit or idea you’ve been wanting to try.
You’re on a budget (no shame in that!) and can’t commit to a full session just now.
What’s Included
30-minute photo session
One outfit
Zoom viewing appointment within 1 week of your session
Collection options ranging from 1 image up to 15 images.
Images delivered via online gallery with print release
Hair and makeup is not included or available for these sessions.

Session Fee: $250

1 image — $250
3 images — $750
8 images — $1300
15 images — $2000
Book by 6/13 and I’ll include one digital image free with your session. That’s a $250 value just for booking early.
How It Works
Pick your date – These sessions are only offered on select days. Once the date is full, that’s it.
Get the Boudoir Guide - This explains the process and how to decide what to wear.
Show up + shoot – The shoot itself takes about 30 minutes. Please arrive with hair and makeup ready to go.
View your images – Within a week, we’ll meet on Zoom to go through your gallery. You’ll choose the images you want and select your final package. Albums are not available for Tease Me Sessions.
Receive your gallery – Your final images will be delivered in an online gallery for you to download. You have permission to print these anywhere.

FAQ
“What if I don’t feel confident enough?” - Confidence isn’t something you need to have walking in—it’s something we build together, moment by moment. You’re allowed to feel nervous. You’re allowed to not know how this will go. That’s why I’m here.
“Do I have to know how to pose?” - Not even a little. I guide you through every movement and tiny shift. You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand.
“Is nudity required?” - Nope. Some folks bare it all, others wear cozy sweaters or bodysuits. You decide what feels right for you. Nothing is ever expected or assumed.
“Will you edit my body?” - I retouch for lighting, skin texture, and small distractions (like blemishes or bruises), but your body is yours. I don’t alter shapes or shrink anything. You are enough, exactly as you are.
“What if I don’t look like the people I see on social media?” - You don’t need to. You are not “before” or “after”—you are now. And you belong here just as much as anyone else.
"Why are boudoir sessions so expensive?" - Because it’s more than a photoshoot—it’s a full experience designed to help you reconnect with yourself, in a space built for softness, power, and visibility. You’re investing in you. Your story. Your healing. Your right to take up space. I want this to be accessible—so I offer flexible payment plans up to 12 months. That way you can create your dream session on your timeline, without added pressure.
"Do I have to bring my own outfit?" - You do but don't worry, you get lots of hand holding when choosing what to bring. :)
